*Places that have actually helped me become successful and recover:
Celadon Recovery is in Ft. Meyers, FL and is great for people who are in a crisis (obviously, we wouldn’t be looking for residential otherwise), but that have the sincere desire to get better. It is very laid-back, and they actually treat you like a normal person.
David Lawerence Center is in Naples, FL and has a great, very structured, intensive mental health/addiction program. When you hit bottom, DLC is a great place to start. After you complete their month long inpatient program, you could transfer to other least restrictive programs (like Celadon). They also have a lot of outpatient programs
*If medications aren’t working for you (like they don’t for me) I highly recommend Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth It uses magnetic pulses to increase dopamine and serotonin levels. I started to get rid of the depressive exhaustion after 3 treatments. I’m almost in full remission from my Major Depressive Disorder
***SAVES CHILDREN”S LIVES***
ISR (Infant Swim Rescue) is a program designed specifically for babies and toddlers. It teaches them survival swimming. By the end of the class, children are able to swim assertively in winter clothes. This is very important, especially in Florida.
